Psalm 49 for Now – a Wakeup Call to Escape the Babylonian Mindset that Those Who Use Money Success to Esteem Themselves and Others

It’s a historical mindset to think that because one is doing well financially that they must be blessed by God and they must be approved by God.

On the other hand a lot of people don’t even think about God’s role in allowing prosperity or blessing a person, enabling them to become financially prosperous.

It’s really easy to trust in money. It’s really easy to seek happiness from money especially when you don’t have any or much and you are continually struggling.

And when you do have a lot of money and or a lot of cash flow it’s easy to think that you are superior to others. It’s also easy to turn your mind and your heart to that money to seek happiness. It’s also easy to seek the happiness and euphoria emotions that can come from money while ignoring God in the process. As you can see from this Psalm and the rest of the Bible, that is a big no-no.

This world is for testing. Humans are as grass. We either produce a return for God according to His instructions in the New Testament or we will be mowed, tossed into the fire to be burned as mentioned in the New Testament as well.

There is a general lack of seriousness about the afterlife that has been going around for quite a while now. That is very dangerous. Every human is one breath away from eternity. We don’t know when we are going to go. To many people to their shock find their life to be over way before the expected. So the conclusion is that we need to put first things first and get right with God and be ready at any moment to enter the afterlife.

Another point to make is that, after saying we need to put first things first and get right with God,  we need to get back to our innate knowing, conscience.  We need to also learn how to walk in the spirit and the use and operate in the mind of the new man that we received after becoming a born-again. Too many people are thinking too much with their lower-level mind that cannot comprehend and understand the things of God and cannot handle all the little minutia of things that need to be corrected within oneself, within the soul. So in essence we all know what’s right and wrong and we all know what’s right and wrong within ourselves so therefore we need to get back to thinking more intuitively as some call it.  We need to get back to acknowledging what we know in our sense of knowing.

Conversely we need to get all the mumbo-jumbo garbage cleansed out of our soul that we picked up from society, that we picked up from the kingdom of darkness through our society including wrong ways of thinking, wrong ways of processing information that we picked up from our corrupted educational systems.

In one of the best ways to start cleansing that junk out is to get to know the Word of God well.  In one of the best ways to do that for, well, all humanity these days especially after all these denominations and their doctrines, is to do a volume Bible reading plan with a volume Bible reading system which we have for you from the right side menu that you can access for free.

Some interesting points

  • 5 “Why should I fear in the days of evil,
    When the wickedness of those who would betray me surrounds me [on every side],”  Those who stand for God’s word and the accurate prophets feel like this. Those who are looking to avoid being exterminated by vaxxines while also avoiding those shedding the vaxxines  mark of the beast bio weapon contagion also can feel this way.
  • 6 “Even those who trust in and rely on their wealth
    And boast of the abundance of their riches?”  Those who made their money from the beasts financial system by essentially selling out to it in in one way or another boast of how great they are and mock those who have pulled back, who have stepped away from Babylon in order to avoid Babylon’s plagues, the collapse of Babylon and in order to prepare for the glorious Godly financial system to come.  These people are also the ones who mock the prophets, they love the fake Satanic news and think that living for this world is all there is while having no common sense to think about what happens after you die.  They don’t know or realize or want to accept the absolute harshness of this life and the disastrous consequences of missing the mark, missing Heaven.
  • None of them can by any means redeem his brother,
    Nor give to God a ransom for him—
    For the redemption of their souls is costly,
    And it shall cease forever—
    That he should continue to live eternally,
    And not [b]see the Pit.” NKJV  Maybe those who have become comfortable in their riches and who trust in riches feel themselves approved as if God approves them so that they can do what they want and it will all be okay. A lot of people think that they are a good person and everything is can be okay, yet without Christ Jesus to save them according to the New Testament, they’re going nowhere but down. They cannot redeem themselves with money or good works while rejecting Jesus as Lord in the process.
  • “10 For he sees that even wise men die;
    The fool and the stupid alike perish
    And leave their wealth to others.
    11
    Their inward thought is that their houses will continue forever,
    And their dwelling places to all generations;
    They have named their lands after their own names [ignoring God].”  So in this sense, happiness and comfort feelings can be a trap in this realm. Also you could say there is a false reality that man can create, especially when financially well off, in order to not deal with God and get right with God.

    Worldly thinking has it that the best, most successful people make the most money before they die. They think the race is to make the most money and if they make a lot of money then they are a good person. And then they  just expect something good to carry on beyond the grave. Conversely in the New Testament God says to put His Kingdom and His righteousness first.   On the other hand for a positive note in regards to money, some have built up a lot of money and invested in the kingdom of God by putting that money to work to bring a return for God (for example building churches across the world) and that has certainly been reported as a very good thing to do according to various Heaven visitation testimonies reports where some people have exchanged their earthly wealth for Heavenly wealth and have mansions as big as cities as in New York city.  So you generate eternal wealth by doing what the New Testament says, by changing your life so you become perfected, or at least try to come close to align your way of thinking in agreement to all the New Testament which then produces your habits which then produces good fruit and a return for God. Also remember the story of the rich farmer who had extra grain silos he built up.  So he thought he would take it easy and implying retiring… But then the New Testament mentions that this person was called a fool and that is life was be taken from that very day thereby giving all of his wealth to others. And the warning was about being rich to yourself instead of being rich to God.
  • “12 But man, with all his [self] honor and pomp, will not endure; He is like the beasts that perish.13 This is the fate of those who are foolishly confident,And of those after them who approve [and are influenced by] their words.”  So don’t seek honor in this world. Don’t seek the approvals of others in this world. Seek honor from God and approval from God you will be very smart. This life is but a tiny puff. Our job is to overcome this world and continually choose God while continuing bearing fruit for God.  Also, even if it’s your parents, don’t follow in their ways of folly, seeking the approval of men, seeking the ways of the world. Now most parents want their kids to do well and be successful but wise parents will want their kids to do well and be successful for God and their future life in Heaven not to fill out one’s life with the ways of the world, vanity, pleasure, honor from the world and please the world.
  • Take this life very seriously. Take every minute very seriously. Be aggressive and lining yourself up with the New Testament and the Old Testament. Realize this realm is about learning the difference between right and wrong and testing. This realm is about developing a relationship of trusting with God that you probably would not have been able to develop while in Heaven since there is no sin or corruption in Heaven.  The challenge is here. The learning arena is here.  You will want to be producing as much fruit as possible according to all of the New Testament. You will want to pursue mastering the New Testament turning the New Testament into your beliefs thereby reprogramming your soul with the New Testament and deprogramming the ways of the world that you’ve been taught all these years through media, education and various other sources.

The Folly of Trusting in Riches.  Psalm 49 AMP Version

To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of the sons of Korah.

49 Hear this, all peoples;
Listen carefully, all inhabitants of the world,

Both low and high,
Rich and poor together:

My mouth will speak wisdom,
And the meditation of my heart will be understanding.

I will incline my ear and consent to a proverb;
On the lyre I will unfold my riddle.

Why should I fear in the days of evil,
When the wickedness of those who would betray me surrounds me [on every side],

Even those who trust in and rely on their wealth
And boast of the abundance of their riches?

None of them can by any means redeem [either himself or] his brother,
Nor give to God a ransom for him—

For the ransom of his soul is too costly,
And he should cease trying forever—

So that he should live on eternally,
That he should never see the pit (grave) and undergo decay.

10
For he sees that even wise men die;
The fool and the stupid alike perish
And leave their wealth to others.
11
Their inward thought is that their houses will continue forever,
And their dwelling places to all generations;
They have named their lands after their own names [ignoring God].
12
But man, with all his [self] honor and pomp, will not endure;
He is like the beasts that perish.

13
This is the fate of those who are foolishly confident,
And of those after them who approve [and are influenced by] their words. Selah.
14
Like sheep they are appointed for Sheol (the nether world, the place of the dead);
Death will be their shepherd;
And the upright shall rule over them in the morning,
And their form and beauty shall [a]be for Sheol to consume,
So that they have no dwelling [on earth].
15
But God will redeem my life from the power of Sheol,
For He will receive me. Selah.

16
Be not afraid when [an ungodly] man becomes rich,
When the wealth and glory of his house are increased;
17
For when he dies he will carry nothing away;
His glory will not descend after him.
18
Though while he lives he counts himself happy and prosperous—
And though people praise you when you do well for yourself—
19
He shall go to the generation of his fathers;
They shall never again see the light.
20
A man [who is held] in honor,
Yet who lacks [spiritual] understanding and a teachable heart, is like the beasts that perish
